I am a hair artist and bridal specialist on Long Island and I began my career in 2003. Specializing in bridal styling, lived-in hair color, and men and women’s haircuts, I truly take pride in my work and creative skill.
As far back as I can remember, I always loved to play with my friends and dolls hair. There is a photo of me at just four years old sitting behind my great Grandma on the couch, playing hairdresser, pretending to cut her hair. But, my first actual haircut was on my American Girl doll, Samantha (yes, my mom wanted to kill me, LOL). I continued on to learn and practice how to braid and style hair. My parents always said it came naturally to me because my great Grandpa was a barber and hairstylist at Radio City. In later years, my younger sister grew to pursue her passion for hair and became a hairstylist as well, so it definitely runs in our family!
At sixteen years old, I started apprenticing in various salons, learning what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. Moving forward, I took all the skills that I learned to pursue my career further. I am so blessed to have such a loyal client following that has given me the opportunity to expand and start working for myself in my own studio in Wantagh. At the start of each appointment, I take my time to consult with each guest to ensure they feel confident and comfortable with their vision.
When I am not in my studio, I am on location accommodating bridal parties of all sizes. My team and I are experienced in all hair types and textures. We pride ourselves on assuring a smooth and easy start to your day. I have earned the privilege of transforming a bride and those closest to her on her wedding day. My favorite part of the morning is the big reveal. There is nothing better than that!
I just recently became a Mother and it has been the greatest joy of my life. When I am not doing hair you can find me with my son (Vincent), my husband and greatest teammate and supporter (Anthony), and my closest family and friends. My husband and I are a big tequila lovers. So much so, that we even named our pup after it (her name is Keela.. see what we did there?!). You can always catch us cozying up with Vin and Keela or trying out restaurants and testing out their tequila drinks!
Beautifying others is a blessing and a passion that I would not trade for the world. Inquire today and you’ll be one step closer to bringing out the beauty in you.
